Approximately every minute of every day, someone in Canada needs blood. In fact, according to a recent poll, 52 per cent of Canadians say they, or a family member, have needed blood or blood products for surgery or for medical treatment.
It’s time for another Bleed for Guelph. If you would like to participate please check out this link for the date and time and sign up – it would be great to know how many so that we can coordinate with Canadian Blood Services.

The number one reason donors say they give blood is because they “want to help others.”

One donation can help save the lives of up to three people.
One person can donate whole blood up to six times a year, improving the quality of life of as many as 18 people.
